Who are the Kandu Group?
The Kandu Group is a network of companies that share the same ethos and push hard to create practical changes. We work because we are user-led. Our products and services come from our personal experiences of disability and have won many awards.

Spokz People CIC support adults with physical disabilities and their families through 1-2-1 and group support, workshops and online support. All our therapists are qualified, trained in disability issues and have personal experience of disability.

Freedom Wheelchair Skills provides peer-led teaching of everyday skills and techniques to get the most out of life while using a wheelchair. We teach people how to become more confident and less dependent on others and to show people how to overcome everyday environmental challenges.
Access Adventures provides a fun adaptive programme, hoping to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by giving them access to sport and outdoor adventures. The camps are designed to build self-confidence, encourage participation and inspire hope for the future.
AccessiblePRS is a property consultancy specialising in accessible strategy & design. Our mission is to increase the quantity of wheelchair accessible housing stock available. We do two things: connect our registered wheelchair user (potential) tenants to our landlords’ accessible rental properties work with investors, developers, architects and co-housing groups to help them understand how accessibility is relevant to them, how they can benefit from it and how to implement it correctly.

Disability Horizons magazine is an online disability lifestyle publication that aims to give disabled people a voice. Founded by two disabled guys in 2011, Disability Horizons publishes articles on a wide variety of topics, all to support the aim of a world where disabled people live exactly as they choose to. Loopwheels minimise vibration, reduce fatigue and pain and give you a smoother ride – allowing you to travel further and longer. Loopwheels replace the rear wheels on your wheelchair to convert your active manual chair into one with suspension. Suspension can be especially welcome if you have a power attachment and so are travelling faster in your chair, as you will be feeling every bump and jolt!
